Can I finance a used boat?
Yes, we offer financing to new and used boats less than 20 years old. We finance private and dealership sales.
Do you finance all types of boats?
We finance small pleasure-craft vessels, including sport fishing style, speed boats, bass boats and day sailor boats, which must be able to fit in a trailer and cannot exceed 26 feet. We also finance boats which are over 26 feet, which required coast guard documentation.
Are there types of boats you do not finance?
We do not finance commercial boats, limited charters, primary residences, house boats, fiberglass or metal-construction only boats.
How do you calculate the value of the boat for the Loan to Value (‘LTV’) calculation?
For the valuation of boat purchases, the sales price will be used to calculate the value. For the valuation of boat refinances, we use the JD Power valuation to calculate the value.
Will you finance 100% of the purchase of the boat?
Yes, we can finance 100% of a boat purchase depending on the credit worthiness evaluation.
Do you refinance boats?
Yes, we can refinance boats up to 20 years old.
Do you finance just the motor or trailer?
Yes, we do have lending product offerings for motor or trailer-only purchases. Contact us for more details.
