How long do I need to be a member before I can apply for a personal (unsecured loan) with First Flight?
The primary borrower must be a Member for at least 90 days and have an account in good standing. Business accounts are not eligible at this time.
Will there be a credit check during the loan process?
Credit is not pulled at the time of loan application or approval. Payment activity is reported to appropriate credit agencies and can impact your credit score.
**What qualifications and credit score requirements are needed to apply for an Advanced Personal Loan?
We do not finance commercial boats, limited charters, primary residences, house boats, fiberglass or metal-construction only boats.
How much can I borrow with and Advanced Loan?
Loan amounts up to $2,000 are based on Member’s direct deposits over 61-day period before application.
When will I received the funds into my account?
Advance Loan funds will be deposited into your First Flight account upon approval.
Is there an application fee?
Yes, there is a $20 application fee.
Membership required. APY = Annual Percentage Yield. Rates are effective as of 4/1/25 and are subject to change without notice. 1$10 monthly fee for Prestige Checking is waived with Direct Deposit or $500 average monthly account balance. 2First Flight Federal Credit Union charges $2 per non-First Flight ATM transaction, which is waived on Prestige Checking Accounts. Members are responsible for fees charged by the ATM-operator.
